This proof was submitted for this mission: http://www.video-games-records.com/picture-p3419.html Anyone who has ever played this game knows that THIS IS NOT THE STORY MODE MISSION, OR EVEN THE CLONE WARS ERA! It irks me that this was allowed to pass for a #1 stat and I would like to have this false stat removed.

How does a Galactic Civil War proof picture pass for a Clone Wars leaderboard?

I've also found more false proof from the player zephyraz on the Clone Wars leaderboards, mission 6 for example. Again he is using Galactic Civil War on a Clone Wars leaderboard. His mission 3 proof picture & his score do not even match, his proof says 115 & his score is over 130. Somebody just remove his scores from these charts, he obviously didn't use the story mode to set these records like he should have.
Hello hfactor66 and welcome to VGR. Proof controllers can't know the 4200 games VGR so it's possible that it have mistakes on some proof. Don't hesitate to report it on the forum, we will correct them. zephyraz was contacted by private message for confirm his mistake here.

Hello. One more time, this problem is a misunderstanding, that could be fixed if VGR apply a system of informations window. This is not yet done, and of course I deeply regret it. :well: hfactor66, you are a newcomer (welcome !) and don’t know the full story for this game. Thanks for your remarks. First, please read this topic, started in October 2014, which I entirely translated for you. Sorry for bad translations (from Google), I corrected some of them...
Shadows: For the record here I question the zephyraz proof because he plays "Immediate action" and not to the adventure mode, for proof, it comes to the Galactic Civil War (faction of the rebels against the Empire) or he has a droid that is the faction of the CSI which is not in agreement with the record. Zephyraz: Good remark. About this game, big scores were posted before by others, but without proof. They clearly indicated that they were made in the "Immediate action" and not the "Campaign". This is particularly visible to the scores of the allies remaining beyond 200 or 250, which would simply be impossible without the bonus side reinforcements for example. It was therefore more appropriate to remove the term "Campaign" and replace with "Missions", which was recently proposed and accepted in accordance with Foxof, previous holder of the Master Badge, and Spyros who recently posted on the game . I intended to inform you, Kromlek and sheidou just after the actual VGR tournament. If I have time, I will inform them before. As s' was just a change in spelling, I had notified all in the part Problems Maintenance Spelling Errors This is why we can play mode Immediate Action 'for this game ... Shadows: Sorry I do not have the ability to remove the topic or I would have done Xdman: It is not to remove, some things have been clarified in the post by zephyraz. Shadows: Certainly. Because as I said in my presentation topic: Zephyraz: Oh, are you sure? I hadn 't noticed that certain missions of immediate action were absent, I will rather say it was the factions that were limited. I'll watch it this week if I have time. Shadows: Well yes and for proof your screen. On the map Yavin 4 may as well play the CSI and the Republic or the Empire or the Rebel Alliance and otherwise on Geonosis can only play with the CSI or the Republic and on Hoth that the Rebels or the Empire or if you look at maps that are available on VGR to the Clone Wars and the Civil war it is clear that the maps correspond to missions mode "adventure" and not to maps in immediate action. My problem is that these are missions in adventure mode, and not in immediate action. On some maps there are many differences between a map of the single player campaign and immediate action such as the map "Plains Naboo" where you only fights Gungans in solo with shields that must be destroyed. Xdman: Very simple question: Can you differentiate the game modes with the proof? Zephyraz: The answer is less simple: not really, it depends on the played mode, the final camera angle, and the vehicle taken. But in general, no. In Instant Action mode, which is already present in the base game (with nothing to unlock), you can select your troops, and a more or less variable bonus. Of course, we can easily replay all the Adventure mode missions, with the right troops. And use an "invisible" bonus by proof, such as additional health reserves or accuracy of allies. In this case, there is no way of differentiating the two modes. Without detailing the rest, it is mainly because of this, but also the overpassed record number of initial allies, already posted on the game, that it is better to say that the levels are all playable in Immediate action, with no matter troops and bonus, rather than trying to categorize records into groups that would be very / too difficult to control. Already the current proof creates difficulties, no need to make them even more complex to analyze ... Shadows: This is another thing ^^ this is the mode Galactic conquest, not Instant Action but whatever it is it is indeed very difficult to differentiate via screenshots but in some cases we see in what game mode was took the screen as in the case of Zephyraz where it is impossible to take the CSI troops on this map in "Adventure mode" (Civil war missions), but that it is possible in Instant Action. I quite agree you, but in this case it should reorganize the list by removing categories Civil war and Clone Wars and listing all the maps of the game. Zephyraz: Yes, sorry, I spoke well of the "Galactic conquest" mode, which has many unidentifiable bonuses by proofs. Obviously, I also thought to reorder the list of missions, by merging the 2 groups, I mean. It is possible now that the spelling of the missions is correct, it would indeed be the right solution to avoid further doubts. We ask this in Modifications & Corrections then, agree? The best would have been (I repeat again and again since pff…) to make all these remarks on a window of "Rules of the game", with what is allowed or not, how do you prove, etc... Shadows: This is wise. Nevertheless I understand the starting will which was to put everyone on an equal step to make the missions mode adventure but it is impossible to actually prove it on a screenshot
. So, finally we agree to change the spelling using the ‘Missions’ prefix, rather than to merge the groups. Then, you can play either in Adventure mode , in Instant action or in Galactic Conquest for all the records of this game. And play with the type of troops you prefer. For the Mission 3, it was an error (both me and controllers, sorry), I corrected it now. Have a good game and enjoy for your games and records.:ok:

So basically you named every chart after the names of the story mode missions but you can play any mode you want as long as it's the same map? That's pretty misleading, and honestly I find it a bit ridiculous that you're allowed to do this. You might as well ditch the names of the story mode missions & just make a chart for every map with the most allies remaining & most kills categories then, because each mode & era has its own advantages, and clearly there was complete disregard for playing the story mode from players in the past so you let them.

Yes, the most important thing for these records is to play the right map. Here, the difficulty is to proove the records, because of the random background screen. In VGR, there is a possibility for asking proofs in every record. Due to not active members who played this game, there is a strong probability to see more than 75% of the scores simply deleted ! :well: I think this is more ridiculous, and hopefully we did not do that. So, we found a compromise between no proofs and respect for players records... As I already did, you can ask other players opinion by Personnal Message (PM), if you think it was disregard. Good game.:ok:
