Just curious to what the best records people have speedrunning the levels. My personal best: 1-Fortress - 268 No Glitch (Small Mario) 8-Bowser Castle - 349 No Glitch (Hammer Bro.) 8-Bowser Castle - 309 No Glitch (Small Mario)

Bowser's Castle - 355 (GBA WR). 1 second from the NES WR, LOL. This means that NES can go roughly 362. World 2-4 - 293 (WR) My next project is to beat/tie Hirano's ridiculously insane WR.

Do you have the orginal NES version or Wii Virtual Console? Also, what's the glitch in 1-Fortress? I'm not that great though, just 1 easy WR on 1-4 - 223 and that's it. The rest I just submitted what I got and I'll improve when the Video Proof System comes out.

Just got some pretty good runs in World 2. I will continue to World 2 and (hopefully) finish it tomorrow. Videos will be up when the whole World is completed. I may change my World 2-4 time from 293 to 292 or 291 (depending on which I get). The 293 was initially done just flying through the level, which is boring and stupid, and which is why I've redone nearly every run as Small Mario (more challenge + much more fun). 2-3 had a very nice ending. I doubt 282 is beatable without flying through everything. edit - I believe all of my World 2 runs so far are World Records as well. When I am done with World 2, I am going to go back to World 1-Airship and try to beat the SR with an improvised strat, but it will be annoying to pull off. If anyone is wondering why I take so long to complete a game's charts, something I've learned about this site is that Quality > Quantity.
