Yeah, I know it's weird! But the time attack ask you to go through the 30 stages in the least number of life and is noted as \"number of attempts\" in the record page.
The reason it's called time attack is that for each level they give a maximum time and if you don't finish it in that time, you lose a marble and restart the stage.
