I once again wish to request the deletion of my account. I have not been active for several years now so there is no real reason for you to keep this account open.
As a site you should be aiming to put your users first rather than yourselves, so I see no reason for this request to be allowed.

We can't just delete your account for now as there are lots of impacts, starting with your messages on the forum that we just can't delete (if we do it, all conversations where you have posted a message would become meaningless…).
We have talked about this case (account deletion) for the next version and our idea is to deactivate the account and delete as much data as we can (starting with private ones). We thought anonymizing (= changing nickname by a random/generic one) it too as some users might want to.
But right not it's not intended in the code.
