Wii Sports Resort Golf (9 Holes) | Classic [-17] *FWR*

Hello everyone,

I can finally show you a new record! Three months ago I was already really close to achieving a -17, but after many choked rounds I had to take a break from the game. A few weeks ago I returned and as always it takes some time to remember the lineups, but finally I got the -17 with only 5 shots to spare.

I want to keep the momentum going and I will grind for -18. With the new strats I learned during this grind I also want to try Classic B again, maybe a perfect game will be possible.

Some thoughts on my shots:

Hole 10: I always restart for north or south wind. I have for all wind speeds a strat, but I dont play 0 wind on hole 1 because it only occurs at most one time and I want to preserve it for the other holes.

Hole 11: With this wind I use the 3 iron. With 4 m/s I needed to give the ball a perfect amount of backspin. Full backspin would not reach the hole and no backspin would overshoot.

Hole 13: In 90% of the conditions I use the spoon for the two front pins and the Driver for the back pin. It is more risky but I figured I get more Hole in Ones this way.

Hole 14: The front pin is always difficult to chip in. In the most conditions I try to bounce over the bunker. With medium or high tailwind the 5 iron can be played without backspin as I did here. I did not have a lineup that I aimed for, so when the ball went in I was surprised as well.

Hole 16: If the game would allow me to choose a hole where I can play 0 wind, hole 16 might be my last choice. It gives me no advantage to save a shot like on the other holes (on most of the other holes I have lineups for 0 wind). The only good thing is, that I didnt need a curve shot to survive the shortcut. My strat is to aim like shown and get abount 3.8-3.9 power, which usually brings me on the green or fairway. With the other pins the fairway is even better as it allows me to play a flag chip instead of a really difficult putt.

Hole 17: On hole 17 I only have a lineup for really slow winds on the front pin (flag chip possible with full power driver). I knew I still needed one more shot to gain for the record, but when I saw the conditions I knew it has to be hole 18 and I just played for the birdie.

Hole 18: I knew with west wind the spoon works well on the second shot and I got an albatross with similar conditions (4 m/s west) a few days before, so I had a good feeling where about to aim.
