On this topic, just say whatever you find strange, or bad, on VGR. We are not talking here about technical problem, but the internal workings at all levels.
It may be the hierarchy, the proof system, the glitches, rules, the atmosphere of the forum ... anything that comes to mind.
And above all, even if something with which you agree was already mentioned, do not hesitate to repeat it too. That way we see the \"seriousness\" of the problem based on the number of people having increased.
We really want to develop the site in the best way with the V6, though it is technically possible.

Maybe be able to sort the \"Loss of Medals\" section by game or even alphabetically, when I want to remove the ones I've gotten rid of it's impossible to find them.
Also sometimes the proof moderators are a little off in their knowledge of accepting pictures or videos, so either make sure they know what they are accepting or hire more. I could help out with proof if you wanted.
If I think of more I'll put them later.
EDIT - Also, before I forget I think that the restriction that some people don't have to have proof (Big Boss is one I can think of that it didn't accept when I tried to challenge) just because they're trusted is a little stupid. Everyone on the site who submits is equal, and everyone should have to provide proof if challenged.

Are you talking about THPS? I'll upload the proof later today.
It's not that people don't need proof, the way it was (I think it changed now?)set up was if a person had already shown their skill in a game then they didn't want to bother that player again on the same game.

what i don't like is unlimited quantity.
sure it's a loss, when you say \"it's not allowed to add statistics\". because some of them make sense, and it's hard to say \"what's a statistic and what's a score\".
but when for EACH masterbadge, you have to fight for 100 useless statistics as well, instead of only the 20 serious \"real\" highscores, then it's just very ennerving at the end.
i think there should be a way to mix and combine quality and quantity.
like why not making for those quantity-games a sidequest ranking, that doesn't count for the master badge but ONLY for points but not for the badge. and there, people can post all their useless scores too.
so: the possibility to post them is there, but the possibility to reach the same master badge with only the useful scores would also be kept. and then, it would feel fairer, because we can decide ourselfs if the statistics are good enough to fight for, without that our game is destroyed for the master badge fight.

-The formula and the ranking favors quantity too much. That bring players to post more and more and neglect on quality.
-Some games with too many records and statistics will eventually kill the competition here.
-The team MB system needs reworking. Usually, except for the really popular games, it's only the team with the most players on it that will have it.
-Easy max scores are the scores that gives the most points. (I know this should be handled by the new formula.)

something makes me think that the whole problem is caused by the total rankings.
we can try to find something else, maybe a one-year-ranking, where only your points for one year count + 30% of the rest. this would be an advantage for new members as well.
and a big disadvantage for maxscores, as you can only post them once and then you have them. instead, for a competitive game you can always improve and post again a new score.
and this would maybe give advantage to quality then:
when you posted for example wario ware touched in 2009 - and in 2010 you improve, you receive your points once for 2009 (as you posted there ^^) and again for 2010 (as long as you improve your position (!!) for each score). - so: when people are beaten in a game, they would not hate the others for beating them, they would maybe even love them for this - as this gives them the chance to change their position in this game, to get the points again when they fight back.
mhhh ^^
ok, this idea needs maybe calculation and discussion, but it's an idea and i think we can think about it...? ;)

I'm not calling you out for having fake scores, I was just bringing up the first example I remembered. I wasn't aware of the exact specifications of the rule. I trust your scores and know you're great that the game, I'm just trying to bring up improvements for the site.

I agree Cobondni and TRINDEL here.
In a game like this or that there should only be highest score and/or fastest times and not all this random statistics.
Easy maxes give crazy points for like SSBB training f.e. but that seems to get solved with the new fomula from what i read here.
For THDJ I can't speak, I don't know how the game work but for Zuma yes I think we only need Scores and Times.
And yes we hope the new formula will solve the problem of giving too many points to maxes.

The difference between THDJ and Zuma is that on THDJ you determine everything. You determine your time, you determine your combo score, you determine etc.(Trust me, I could say that for all the categories). The main categories would be Time, Score and Combo Score, the rest are stat categories to be fair.
What should definitely stay:
Biggest Combo Score - Because it is a skill based record
Race - Because it is a best race time
Slalom - Because it is a best Slalom run time
Special - Because it is a best Special Run time
Total Score - Because it is the highest score per level
Trick - Because it is the best Trick Run score
However, you would have to put some categories back in, as they would be no longer duplicated
On Zuma, the records aren't determined by you, it's determined by what colour ball the computer decides is next, and your scores are based on that(ESPECIALLY max chain). So really only best time and high score are actual records
The problems with the games isn't the games, but the rules of the site that says(and I quote) \"All possible records of the game must be indicated, in English.\"
I quite like the idea of keeping major records for the MB, and minor records are separate

just a little suggestion:
when you send a proof, you get this little window \"send a proof\".
if possible, it would be good if the levelname was written there again, in this window.
i just wanted to prove my scores for 101 in 1 ds, but i think i sent for 2-3 levels the proof for the level that's written below in the list (like sumo / sudo master... ).
so it would be more comfortable to be able to read the levelname in the window, when the little window covers the levelname and you remember wrong which level it was, you just see it ^^
you understand what i mean? ^^

That would be very cool.
.bmp and .png. I can't think of other formats at the moment.
Because:
When I make a screenshot from my PSP, it's in .bmp, almost 400kb.
When making screenshots of the printscreen or from a video in Ubuntu, they will be in png.
Converting a lot of pictures takes a lot of time.
Just uploading them in the format as they are is a fast way.
