its not realy a "bad thing" on the site, but whats happen with the idea of increase the amount of "asking for proof" per day?
Maybe i did not search well, but i do not find any thread about this, but im sure there was the idea of increasing the Number from 3 to 5 per day. (if exist, pls let me know, i dont realy want to open a new thread, if i dont need to)
Just to have the option to increase the speed of asking. Actuall i ask for proof on Aladdin (SNES) but still 2 scores are missing and i need to w8 another day.(3 day time needed and tomorrow are 4)
I know ppl told me that more scores to proofs makes more work for the proof Admin, but Games like this just make clear how many scores we have, they just get deleted(no work for prooving) and its even for me a huge amount of deleted scores... that many scores of lazy ppl or maybe scores they never exsist at all on the site
999 Swordfight Score
And what im interessting in: how many ppl we have here are actually using active the "ask for proof" system? Just to see how many work its realy do at the end. I feel im the only one

I know of an issue - How come if there is the smallest discussion in a topic about adding games that it completely delays the adding process? Especially when the discussion isn't about an issue with the request?
The next time I recommend something (probably Forza Horizon 2) there will be a very strict set of guidelines about discussion in the topic (namely, no discussion whatsoever).

I think that there is a lot of records here where there is specific things to follow, and need to be written somewhere. Like difficulty, lenght, speed, bonus, characters, type of pad used, settings,... and also glitchs autorised/forbidden. If it is not written directly in the name of the record, and there can be a lot of confusion.
I strongly recommand that VGR enable special rules for each game (if there is a need, of course) !
All the players of the game must accept it and respect it.
I already said that many times, and since a long time now.
Do you know if these 'Game Rules' will be enabled in the next VGR version ?

I agree but you miss something. Games' rules cannot override the website rules. Parameters such as difficulty, characters, vehicles and even glitches will not be part of it.
We need to carefully think and define what can be part of such rules. And the part "players must accept it" should be "admins must validate them" because the rules must be added when the game is added to VGR.
On existing games it'll be difficult to change everything and to delete every score because the rule was added later and moreover every player will not be here to "accept it".

That's why I want to think carefully about having game rules...
If the website state "All glitch are allowed" it's impossible to see a game rule telling "Glitches are not allowed". What rule will the newcomers trust?
If we make game specific rules then we need to change the website rules to allow the first ones to override the second ones.
As an example the site should state "Concerning glitches take care of the game rules." and then the game can state "The glitch ... is disallowed." but if it's only to disabled then on every game then we will have to disabled them on the website... Maybe glitches aren't a good example but it's the only one I can find.
I'm not against the idea of specific rules but before making it possible we need to really define what can be done with it (eg. Will it erase website rules? - Will it complete website rules? etc..)

but that "specific Game Rule" are already added on some Games. Tetris (NES) have a ingame trick to easy get the max score of 999.999 Points. Just hold select and get 10.000 points if you drop a stone to the ground. Do this 100x and you have your 999.999 max score.
Scores like this was deleted during the fact of loosing competition.
On 1 point its a good point, on another points its unfair over every other Game still using glitches to get some " nomaly impossible scores/times" without using any glitches.
But yes, its also hard to get a rule for every Game itself.
I just think, that we have only 2 ways:
1. we fully ignore specific rules for EVERY Game (same for Tetris and other Games) or
2. we have a rule fo every Game (some standard, some special) but need to start it now for every new Game, or the list of adding rules getting longer and longer
Same for the special Proof rule (only video proof) for the most Mario Time Games like: "you got the best time? Show us or it never happen"
is an sample, but you know what i mean.
Im here like the most ppl, just are here, making scores, talking about improovemets of the site, but the real work behind those ideas are massive. Even we have the best ideas for the site, someone need to do it and its not easy maked in 1 or 2 hours.

I have to prove every single record right now (I'm ranked first for Mario Kart 8), but I have to do it with pictures...would I be able to upload a video of all my 3 lap times somewhere to be able to prove my records? Most of my records aren't even close to the real world records so I don't know why I'm having to prove each one individually by picture unless someone went through and asked for proof for everything. It's relatively irritating.

Hello Rookie,
We force the future first places to be proven since December 18. This rule has for main goal to give more credibility to the scores you sent on VGR and therefore more serious to the site.
Everything is explained in this article.

What problems are ignored?
The problems are sent to the admins who meet weekly to prepare the new version of VGR. It must be understood that we haven't much developers and so we can't make big changes to the current version of VGR and simultaneously prepare the future version.
I know this is very long but you're the firsts to know that there are many things to correct or improve in order that the next version answer your expectations. I can unfortunately only to ask you to be patient and to don't hesitate to tell what you think is important to correct, arguing and suggesting why not a better solution.
We wish as much as you that the site is the best possible.
(Sorry for my very bad english, i try to be understandable.)

Could we get an option to create a video proving records though? Honestly having to create a picture for every single record is demotivating me from wanting to continue uploading my records here because it's just too much work for too little gain. I can prove everything with just a single video, which would be so much easier, than individual pictures for every record.
