The platinium idea is flawed anyway. Take this for a start. Me I could use the girlfriend-effect: I could have my wife sign up to VGR, having her post all the score she already did on game where I'm alone, and win nearly 1,000 more plat putting me way higher in the top 100. Would that make me a better player??? No, nor would it make the platinium more valuable if you needed to proove them with a picture, it would only make the top even more flawed and useless.

Well, asume platinium are needed to be proved. I take your idea: my girlfriend can do you trick and I will not win about 1k platinium because I need to prove them.
So, ok, I can prove them and I have 1k platinium which are not valuable since it's my girlfriend who post her rookies scores to help me climbing the ranking...
Platinium are what they need to be. Proving them is a way to tell to VGR "I'm honest and I'm not a cheater", but this is not their first sense, which is to rank every people on every game by telling who's the best without any tie.
Be sure this feature will NOT be implemented.

I could easily win 1000 platinium by having my wife join, I see that as a problem... I may be the only one who see it that way, and may be the only one with this opinion, but nonetheless...
(And I could prove my score, so it's not useless...)
I liked the gold medals rating better. I may be one of the few.
BTW, a feature that should be implemented, is a way for you mods to lock a topic when you decide that the decision is reached.
